What a Fantastic Open Day at Newton Village Hall!
A huge thank you to everyone who helped make our Newton Village Hall Open Day such an outstanding success.
It was wonderful to see so many people of all ages visiting from both our local area and further afield to discover everything our village hall has to offer. The hall was buzzing throughout the day with ten fantastic groups showcasing their activities, and it was great to see so many visitors chatting, asking questions and getting involved.
We were delighted to welcome the Lord Mayor and our local councillor Jenny Johnson, whose support was greatly appreciated.
Visitors also enjoyed a vibrant performance by the Cultural Dance Group, a wonderful reading from the Writing Group, and the opportunity to enjoy both the indoor and outdoor spaces while relaxing with complimentary tea, coffee, soft drinks and biscuits.
This event simply wouldn’t have been possible without the enthusiasm and hard work of our exhibitors, volunteers, leaflet distributors, Newton Village Hall Committee and everyone who came along to support us.

Newton Village Hall is a wonderful community venue, bringing people together to learn, socialise, stay active and build lasting friendships. If you’re looking for a place to join an activity, start a new group, hold a meeting or organise an event, we’d love to hear from you. Everyone is always welcome.

Newton Village Hall is a community resource run by volunteers for the benefit of the local residents of Newton, West Kirby and surrounding areas.
Newton Village Hall comprises a main hall c/w complimentary outside garden and seating area and smaller room (which can also access our new garden) plus kitchen facilities, male and female toilets and private car parking (please note plenty of off-street car parking is also available). We are already the meeting venue of choice for a number of local community groups.
Please note the hall is also available for hire commercially at very reasonable rates. Bookings can include regular dates e.g. such as yoga classes etc, as well as one off events.
The hall has always been used as a venue for children’s parties and family occasions, but is capable of hosting a much wider range of events e.g. playgroups, clubs and society meetings, uniformed organisations events, dance classes, fitness classes, exhibitions, craft fairs, seminars, lectures and community meetings.
Our hall is run by a small band of dedicated volunteers, if you can spare just a few moments each month to help us you would be most welcome, please get in touch we would be really happy to hear from you.
